It's about time that I posted. Though the postings are quite unexpected even to me. I figured I'd post pencil & digital art, but life is full of surprises.

I've been debating about posting these photographs I took. Reasoning is that I had a discussion on whether photographs are considered Art a few days ago.

My friend reiterated to me one day what her photography professor told her entire class on how since photographers only capture and don't compose they are not artists.

I was plagued by many questions:

But what then do they capture? Don't they need an artists eye to capture a simple act, person, or thing? Isn't photography another technique of art? What then do you say to an artist who simply copies from a photo? Or a landscape? Isn't drawing and/or painting people, things, and landscapes capturing that particular moment?

Are they not different and similar forms of capturing?

I then thought of the pictures I captured. Remembered the the great feeling of seeing these certain areas in a different yet similar way. Of the stories that were inspired and that will be inspired from these simple photos. Photos that I hope inspire.

BTW:

I have no idea when I will post the next time. I was simply inspired today. I miss posting. It's all related to the busy life of a struggling, college student.
